Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney 

A respected law firm in Seattle, WA is seeking an Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney to join its dynamic litigation team. This role focuses on insurance coverage disputes, bad faith litigation, and risk analysis, representing insurers in complex legal matters.

Responsibilities:

• Insurance Coverage Analysis: Review and interpret insurance policies, assess coverage applicability, and provide strategic counsel to insurers.
• Coverage & Bad Faith Litigation: Defend insurers in coverage disputes, bad faith claims, and declaratory judgment actions.
• Claims & Risk Management: Advise insurance clients on risk exposure, claims handling practices, and policy interpretations to mitigate legal risks.
• Litigation & Settlement Strategy: Handle all phases of litigation, from pleadings and discovery to trial preparation and resolution.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to the Washington Bar.
• 2+ years of experience in insurance coverage litigation, bad faith claims, or related areas.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex insurance policy language.
• Negotiation and advocacy skills for resolving coverage disputes.
