Electrical & Mechanical Assembly Supervisor

Position SummaryThe Electrical Assembly Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring production success by leading and mentoring a team of 3-4 Electrical Assemblers and Electro-Mechanical Technicians. This hands-on leadership role requires strong communication, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate project schedules to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and train team members in electrical assembly and wiring techniques
• Assign and assist with tasks, including panel building, device mounting, and conduit installation
• Ensure alignment of electrical and mechanical scopes with project timelines
• Maintain quality standards, organize inventory, and verify received parts
• Communicate project progress and concerns to management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Perform hands-on assembly as needed

Requirements

• Electrical and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to lift/move 50 lbs. and stand for 8+ hours
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel)

Preferred

• 5+ years of experience in control panel building and device mounting
• Conveyor industry or custom equipment manufacturing experience
• Advanced computer skills (AutoCAD Electrical, ERP systems)
