gpac, a 30+ years recruitment company, is partnering with a well-established Plaintiff firm in Chicago with an extensive clientele in the legal industry. We are looking for an experienced Federal Litigation & Class Action Attorney to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in class action, federal litigation and other complex litigation matters. 
• Conduct research, analyze legal precedents, and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs required in the course of the litigation.

Essential Job Functions:

• Possess strong knowledge of current legal trends, laws, and regulations related to class action lawsuits and federal courts and proceedures.
• Manage all phases of litigation including discovery, pretrial, trial, and appellate processes.
• Be able to apply sound judgment, effective communication, and analytical reasoning to develop optimal litigation strategies.

Requirements: 

• A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 5-6 years of experience practicing litigation & Class Action law.
• Admitted to practice in Illinois.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
