PERSONAL INJURY LITIGATION PARALEGAL Position Type: Full-Time
POSITION OVERVIEW: We are a growing law firm and are looking for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal with a minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation experience. The ideal paralegal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple personal injury cases from intake through resolution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement/trial
- Draft and file personal injury pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
- Request and review medical records and bills for personal injury claims
- Prepare demand packages and assist with settlement negotiations
- Maintain case files and deadlines
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters
- Schedule depositions, mediations, and court appearances
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation
- Support multiple personal injury attorneys as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR PARALEGAL POSITION:
- Minimum 3 years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court filing requirements
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with case management software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to multitask
- Professional demeanor and exceptional work ethic
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Paralegal certificate or degree preferred
- Experience with medical terminology
- Bilingual skills a plus
- Knowledge of local court rules and procedures
- Previous experience as a personal injury litigation paralegal
