One of gpac's most trusted clients in the the Manufacturing Industry is in need of an ERP Specialist. This ERP Specialist will support the implementation, development, and optimization of the ERP system while also assisting with IT support tasks. The role involves cross-departmental collaboration to enhance and streamline business processes efficiently.
ERP Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and document system requirements and workflows.
- Analyze, model, and implement business processes within the ERP system.
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users, resolving ERP-related issues on time.
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and testing to ensure system stability and performance.
- Maintain ERP data accuracy by performing regular data entry, validation, and cleanup tasks.
- Ensure ERP data accuracy through regular validation and cleanup.
- Create and update detailed ERP documentation and training materials.
- Conduct basic training sessions for end-users to improve adoption and effective system use.
- Assist in the testing and deployment of the ERP system to support various business functions (e.g., production and purchasing).
- Assist the IT team with backup functions, including network and interface troubleshooting.
- Other duties as assigned
ERP Specialist Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required
- 5+ years of experience working with ERP systems is required
- Epicor ERP system experience is highly preferred
- Independent working style with strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (MSQL) is preferred
- A basic understanding of ERP architecture and user rights management is highly preferred
- Experience with SQL database queries and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is preferred
- Experience in coordinating the implementation of new processes and systems is preferred
- Experience with interface solutions and support ERP integration with other systems (e.g., MES, CRM, WMS) is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to conduct structured and comprehensible training sessions.
