Commercial Mechanical Estimator & Account Manager in Denver

Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator with 5+ years in commercial HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems estimating. The ideal candidate will have expertise in HVAC, process piping, sheet metal, and plumbing, and be skilled in estimating, negotiating contracts, and managing project proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimate costs for commercial HVAC, plumbing, process piping, and sheet metal systems.
• Walk job sites to assess and analyze mechanical systems, ensuring accurate estimates.
• Obtain and evaluate material, equipment, and subcontractor quotes.
• Perform takeoff drawings, prepare final bid summaries, and issue scope letters to subcontractors.
• Collaborate with Pre-Construction and Sales Managers throughout the estimation and proposal process.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements with clients and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a mechanical and plumbing estimator.
• Expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and sheet metal systems.
• Familiarity with QuickPen Estimating or similar software.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven experience in obtaining quotes, generating takeoff drawings, and preparing bid summaries.

Preferred:
Experience in commercial/industrial HVAC and plumbing, QuickPen Estimating software.
