We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Mid-Level Drywall Estimator to join our team and help support our expanding operations in the Pottstown, PA area.

Job Description: As a Mid-Level Drywall Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately preparing estimates for drywall projects, working closely with clients, project managers, and contractors. You will review blueprints, specifications, and project details to provide detailed and accurate cost estimates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drywall estimating, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of construction methods and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare detailed and accurate drywall estimates.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Analyze project requirements and prepare accurate takeoffs to determine material and labor costs.
• Coordinate with the project management team to ensure estimates align with project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Provide cost analysis and value engineering recommendations to optimize project profitability.
• Prepare and submit formal bids and proposals to clients.
• Follow up on submitted estimates, ensuring timely responses to clients and adjustments as needed.
• Track project costs throughout the lifecycle, ensuring estimates align with actual expenditures.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, pricing, and new materials to provide the most accurate and competitive estimates.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in drywall estimating (commercial or residential).
• Strong knowledge of drywall installation methods, materials, and costs.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Ability to use estimating software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A background in construction or related fields is preferred.
