Maintenance Technician in Roanoke

Job Description

Job Summary:

Maintenance Technician with experience in PLCs (ability to program), HMI, servo motors, 3-phase motors, pneumatics, and automation control systems. You will be servicing machinery (100 different machines) and conveyors, as well as, mentoring technicians.

Job Duties:

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and automation issues.
• Program and maintain PLCs (skilled in legacy and newer) and HMIs.
• Service pneumatic and motor control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Read schematics and technical manuals.
• Ensure safety compliance.
• Teach and mentor other technicians.

Qualifications:

• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, servo motors, and pneumatics.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation.
• Background in industrial maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Industrial Technology or equivalent experience.

Compensation $75,000 - $90,000 based on experience
