Job Title: Insurance Defense Attorney

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join a highly regarded law firm in Miami, FL. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic and collaborative team defending clients in complex insurance matters. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research and writing skills, experience in litigation, and a passion for delivering superior legal services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent insurance carriers and their policyholders in defense litigation, including personal injury, property damage, and liability cases.
• Conduct legal research, draft motions, and pleadings.
• Take and defend depositions, prepare for trials, and manage caseloads.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients.
• Negotiate settlements and attend mediation when necessary.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff in case preparation and strategy.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• 3+ years of experience in insurance defense, with a focus on personal injury defense preferred.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent legal writing skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary ranging from $130,000 to $200,000, based on experience
