Job Description

We are partnered with a mid-size law firm that is seeking an Attorney with 10+ years of corporate law experience to join their Business and Transactions practice group. This can be either a partner level candidate (no book required) or a Senior Counsel!

 

Ideal candidate-

  • Experience leading M&A transactions (managing a team of in-house and outside counsel)
  • Drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, financing agreements and other transaction documents, coordinating due diligence and closings
  • Experience with entity formation and structuring, LLC agreements, shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, and commercial lending transactions
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, attention to detail and enjoys working with a collaborative team
  • Admitted to practice in DC, Maryland and/ or Virginia
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule based out of Washington DC, or Annapolis office.
  • Will consider candidates outside of DMV area for fully remote schedule
