Target Base Salary: $160,000–$195,000, depending on experience and leadership scope

An established MEP engineering consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Director to guide its mechanical practice, strengthen client relationships, and develop the next generation of engineering leaders.

Your impact:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow the mechanical engineering team.

  • Oversee HVAC design, equipment selection, system coordination, and technical reviews.

  • Manage project staffing, schedules, budgets, and engineering quality.

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients and architectural partners.

  • Collaborate with electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines on integrated building solutions.

  • Help pursue new work and strengthen long-term client relationships.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Typically 15+ years of progressive MEP building systems experience.

  • Professional Engineer license; Texas registration or ability to obtain it.

  • Experience leading engineers, managing projects, and maintaining client relationships.

  • Strong HVAC design expertise and knowledge of applicable building and energy codes.

  • Familiarity with Revit and mechanical load and energy modeling tools.

  • The ability to connect technical excellence with sound business decisions.
