Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Consumer Lender to join our growing community bank team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is well-connected in the local community and interested in building a long-term career in banking. While prior lending experience is a plus, the bank is willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong customer service skills, integrity, and a desire to learn the lending business.
This role will focus on developing and managing consumer loan relationships while providing exceptional service to customers throughout the loan process.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
Assist customers with consumer loan applications and loan requests
Identify opportunities to provide appropriate lending and banking solutions
Work with internal teams to process and close loans
Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations
Participate in community involvement and networking opportunities
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred
Banking, sales, or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Desire to learn lending and grow within the banking industry
