Structural Design Engineer

 A well-established local company is hiring a Structural Design Engineer.  In This Role, You Will:

  • Design glulam beams, trusses, and arches, including connection and support details
  • Generate shop drawings, submittals, and structural calculations for review and fabrication
  • Coordinate with internal sales, production, and project teams to ensure buildability and code compliance
  • Review specifications, project plans, and codes for accuracy and alignment
  • Interface with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders on custom timber solutions

 Your Background:

  • EIT or PE license preferred (or ability to obtain PE in near term)
  • Bachelor’s in civil or Structural Engineering
  • Experience in structural timber or interest in engineered wood design
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and structural analysis tools (RISA, SAP2000, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills and an interest in custom, hands-on work
