A growing, multi-state defense litigation firm is seeking an attorney with 7+ years of defense litigation experience to join its Dallas office. Insurance defense experience is strongly preferred. This opportunity offers substantial case responsibility, courtroom experience, and a collaborative team that supports your professional growth.
The firm handles complex litigation involving construction law, healthcare liability, oil and gas, product liability, trucking and transportation, catastrophic injury, premises liability, and insurance coverage.
Manage litigation cases from inception through resolution with autonomy over day-to-day case handling.
Draft and respond to written discovery, take and defend depositions, and handle motion practice.
Attend hearings and mediations, prepare cases for trial, and pursue courtroom opportunities.
Evaluate liability, damages, and potential exposure to develop strategic case assessments.
Provide clients with timely, thorough reporting, legal analysis, and recommendations.
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to move cases forward efficiently.
Active Texas bar license and good standing.
At least 7 years of defense litigation experience, with insurance defense strongly preferred.
Strong experience with discovery, depositions, motion practice, and mediation.
Ability to independently manage cases, evaluate exposure, and deliver substantive client reporting.
Excellent legal writing, communication, organization, and attention to detail.

Hybrid schedule: work from home Monday–Wednesday and in the office Thursday–Friday.
