Position: Commercial Title Coordinator
Location: NYC-based with remote opportunity

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience:
    • Title Producer License and Notary preferred
    • 3+ years in the title industry, with expertise in NY, NJ, and PA transactions
    • Experience in title insurance, handling commercial files with a pipeline of 40-60 files at any given time
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, high attention to detail, and ability to embody the company’s core values: client focus, teamwork, integrity, and innovation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for developers, real estate investors, attorneys, and banks
  • Prepare Proformas and Settlement Statements in accordance with lender closing instructions
  • Oversee clearance documentation to ensure all title commitment requirements are met and approved by underwriters
  • Utilize expertise to resolve complex title commitment requirements beyond the clearance team’s authorization
  • Conduct closings and provide support throughout the settlement process
  • Maintain and manage the milestones system to ensure compliance with company policy
  • Prepare files for disbursement and respond promptly to client inquiries
