Our mid sized law firm in downtown Miami is seeking a skilled attorney with 4 to 8 years of experience to join its insurance litigation team. This is a prime opportunity for a motivated attorney to grow in a collaborative, in-office setting, with partnership opportunities available for the right candidate.
The firm handles a wide range of insurance-related matters including first-party and third-party coverage disputes, bad faith litigation, coverage opinions, and policy analysis. We are looking for an attorney who is highly analytical and detail-oriented, with strong litigation knowledge—even if you haven’t spent time in the courtroom.
What You’ll Do:
Represent insurance carriers in coverage and bad faith litigation in both state and federal court
Draft coverage opinions and conduct thorough policy analysis to assess liability and exposure
Prepare pleadings, discovery, legal memoranda, and motions in ongoing coverage disputes
Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys on strategic case development and client communication
Manage multiple case files while meeting litigation and reporting deadlines
What We’re Looking For:
A licensed attorney in good standing with the Florida Bar
4 to 8 years of law firm experience, ideally with a focus on insurance coverage or bad faith litigation
Strong knowledge of litigation processes, even if you lack courtroom experience
Superior research, writing, and analytical skills
A team-oriented attorney who is eager to expand their practice and contribute meaningfully
