Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager
Mechanical / HVAC Subcontractor
A growing Mechanical/HVAC subcontractor is seeking a detail-driven Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to support projects from preconstruction through completion. If you’re highly organized, task-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment, this could be a great next step.
What you’ll do:
Read plans and perform on-screen takeoffs
Create project budgets, estimates, and proposals
Support project execution to ensure jobs stay on budget
Coordinate jobsite visits with the production team
Prepare takeoff sheets and pricing for specialty projects
Extract and clarify plan details as needed
Communicate with customers and internal teams via phone and email
What they’re looking for:
Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam preferred
Strong communication skills and team-first mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without restrictions?
