Are you eager to make an impact on the dairy farming industry? We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated Territory Sales Representative to join our team!

In this role, you’ll work directly with dairy farmers, providing them with tailored solutions for their feed and nutritional needs. You will travel daily across Minnesota to consult with farmers about their herd health. This is the right role for you, if you have a strong understanding of animal nutrition, are self-motivated, and have a passion for building lasting relationships!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consultative Selling: Develop strong relationships with dairy farmers, understanding their needs and providing expert recommendations on feed and nutritional products that optimize herd health and productivity

  • Product Knowledge: Be the go-to expert for feed and nutritional solutions, educating customers on the latest products, trends, and best practices

  • Customer Support: Provide ongoing support to clients, offering technical advice and troubleshooting any issues related to feed and nutrition

  • Market Research: Stay ahead of industry trends and customer needs to ensure your territory’s growth and success

  • Sales Goals: Achieve and exceed sales targets while building and maintaining strong customer relationships

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous sales experience in feed, nutrition, animal health, genetics or related markets working with dairy farmers

  • Strong understanding of dairy farm operations, animal nutrition, and feed products

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients

  • Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and take ownership of your territory

  • A passion for helping farmers optimize their operations and improve herd health
