Associate Attorney – Business Litigation (San Diego, CA)

A well-regarded boutique law firm located in downtown San Diego is seeking an experienced Business Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing practice. This firm is known for its collaborative culture, low turnover, and hands-on mentorship. The practice is national in scope and represents a diverse base of business clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation attorney looking to grow in a supportive, close-knit environment with meaningful exposure to complex business disputes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage cases from intake through resolution.
  • Independently handle case strategy, pleadings, discovery, and motion practice.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
  • Participate in depositions, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
  • Communicate directly with clients and provide case updates.
  • Billable Hours: 1750

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of civil litigation experience required (business litigation preferred but not required).
  • Ability to independently manage a full case file from start to finish.
  • Experience first-chairing depositions, arbitrations, or bench trials is a plus.
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and team-oriented.
