The Tax Manager will oversee tax planning, preparation, and review for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role is responsible for managing staff, ensuring compliance with federal and local tax laws, and delivering proactive tax strategies that support our clients’ financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and review federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts

  • Lead tax planning engagements and provide strategic recommendations to clients

  • Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff and senior accountants

  • Research complex tax issues and provide written and verbal guidance
  • Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and applicable local tax authorities

  • Participate in business development and client relationship management

  • Maintain high professional and ethical standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation preferred)

  • Active CPA license required

  • 5+ years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax

  • Strong technical knowledge of federal taxation; Florida tax experience preferred

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and client-service skills

    Preferred Experience
  • Experience with Florida-based industries such as hospitality, real estate, construction, or healthcare

  • Exposure to high-net-worth individual tax planning
