Job Title: Commercial Construction Project Manager
Compensation: Up to $130,000 base + full benefits
Location: Chicagoland Area

Job Overview:
A well-established commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a construction professional with a strong commercial background who is looking for long-term growth with an established company.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion and be comfortable working with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
• Review plans, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Assist with estimating, bidding, buyout, and subcontractor negotiations
• Monitor project costs, quality, safety, and timelines
• Maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships
• Identify and resolve project issues throughout construction

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience
• Previous Project Manager experience preferred
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes
• Experience with ground-up construction, renovations, or both
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Multifamily and interior-only construction backgrounds are not the primary focus

Compensation & Benefits:

• Up to $130,000 base salary
