Job Description

Maintenance Mechanic

Seeking an experienced industrial mechanic or electronic technician with a history of exceeding uptime requirements. Candidates should have extensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical components and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

Own preventive maintenance system to ensure uptime requirements are met; read and understand technical documents, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering diagrams; troubleshooting malfunctions.

Pinpoint defects and malfunctions by observing equipment in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.

 Use hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools to disassemble equipment as needed for repairs/service

Install and qualify operationally functional parts of equipment and control instruments.

Minimize downtime by training production technicians on routine preventive maintenance tasks, while monitoring for compliance.

Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop equipment as needed.

Rapidly responds to mechanical maintenance questions and requests.

Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

  • Ability to reach Schematics
  • Technical Understanding
  • Ability to safely operate a broad range of Power Tools
  • Must be detail oriented and a great communicator
