Design Manager – Commercial Fire Protection
Full-Time | Four-Day Workweek | Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Design Manager to lead commercial fire protection design operations within a structured, team-oriented environment. This is a leadership role designed for someone who wants responsibility, stability, and balance.

This is not a production-only drafting role. This position carries influence, visibility, and impact across projects and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial fire protection design projects from concept through completion

• Manage and mentor design team members

• Participate in coordination meetings with contractors and project stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards

• Support backlog management and workflow planning

• Maintain professional communication in high-accountability construction environments

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in commercial fire protection design

• NICET Level III or IV preferred

• Strong knowledge of applicable codes and industry standards

• Experience interfacing with contractors and project managers

• Professional presence with the ability to operate effectively in construction settings
