Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all nursing operations and ensure high-quality, compliant patient care
Manage and support nursing staff including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in accordance with federal and state regulations
Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Monitor quality assurance and prepare for regulatory audits and inspections
Assist with departmental budgeting, staffing, and strategic planning
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Dakota or ability to obtain
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN required; MSN or healthcare management experience preferred)
Minimum of 3 years of nursing leadership experience in long-term care, acute, or skilled nursing settings
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and best practices
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
