I’m conducting a confidential search for a trusted project coordinator for a well-established residential construction company that has been serving the Omaha metro for over 30 years.

This is a small business environment where the right project coordinator becomes incredibly important to the success of the company. The owner is looking for a project coordinator he can trust to help manage customers, schedules, and change orders while keeping projects organized from start to finish.

This is not just an administrative role. The right project coordinator becomes the operational backbone of the team.

🎯 The Role – Project Coordinator

The project coordinator will play a key role in supporting residential construction projects and keeping communication flowing between the client, the field, and the owner.

Responsibilities for the project coordinator include:

📞 Managing communication and ensuring an excellent customer experience

📅 Coordinating project schedules with crews, subcontractors, and suppliers

📊 Tracking project progress and helping keep projects on schedule

📝 Managing change orders and job updates

💻 Keeping project information updated in Buildertrend or JobTread

📂 Supporting documentation, job files, and project records

🔄 Helping ensure the owner always has visibility into job status and scheduling

The project coordinator will serve as the central communication hub between customers, crews, and leadership.

🏅 What Makes a Strong Project Coordinator

The ideal project coordinator will:

✔ MUST HAVE 5 YEARS experience working in residential construction or construction project coordination

✔ Be comfortable working directly with clients and managing expectations

✔ Be extremely organized and detail-oriented

✔ MUST HAVE experience using Buildertrend or JobTread (required)

✔ Be able to manage multiple schedules and projects at the same time

✔ Have strong communication and problem-solving skills

✔ Enjoy working in a small business environment where trust and accountability matter
