Plant Manager in Green Bay

Job Description

Gpac is working with a well-established food manufacturer that is seeking a Plant Manager for one of their facilities south of the Madison area of Wisconsin.

This dairy company has been in business for 40 years and they are expanding rapidly.

They are looking for someone who prefers to manage from the floor and enjoy mentoring and developing the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full scope of plant operations: production, maintenance, quality, sanitation, logistics, and budget
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
• Lead capital projects and implement process improvements
• Analyze performance metrics to optimize output and reduce costs
• Partner with senior leadership on long-term strategic planning
• Champion employee development, morale, and operational excellence

  Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in plant leadership within the dairy or food manufacturing industry; smoked or dairy preferred
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment
• Strong skills in communication, performance management, and team development
• Experience with plant engineering, maintenance, and lean manufacturing preferred
• Hands-on leadership style with a mentoring mindset and strong interpersonal skills; on the floor approach
