The Agronomy Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day logistics of crop input delivery, inventory management, and coordination of agronomy services. This role ensures the efficient flow of products from suppliers to customers and supports internal teams with real-time logistics planning and execution. Position Overview
The Agronomy Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day logistics of crop input delivery, inventory management, and coordination of agronomy services. This role ensures the efficient flow of products from suppliers to customers and supports internal teams with real-time logistics planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for fertilizers, chemicals, seed, and other crop inputs.
Schedule deliveries and service appointments to align with customer planting and application windows.
Communicate with suppliers, applicators, drivers, and agronomists to ensure timely product availability.
Monitor and manage inventory levels at retail or satellite locations; assist with forecasting needs.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and transportation regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation, including shipping records, load-out tickets, and inventory logs.
Support seasonal operations, including dispatching, order entry, and customer service.
Collaborate with sales and agronomy teams to understand grower needs and priorities.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or agronomy-related roles.
Knowledge of crop inputs and seasonal farming operations strongly preferred.
Proficient in logistics software, Microsoft Office Suite, and inventory systems.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
CDL or knowledge of DOT regulations a plus.
