Associate Attorney – Civil Litigation - (San Diego)
A growing civil litigation firm in San Diego is seeking both junior (1-2 years) and mid-level (5+ years) litigation attorneys to join their defense team. The ideal candidates will have civil litigation experience, with a preference for those familiar with insurance defense and general liability, though employment law or other civil litigation backgrounds will be considered. About the Role:
Manage a caseload from start to resolution (mid-level) or build foundational litigation skills (junior level)
Handle various civil litigation matters in a collaborative, supportive environment
Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in office, flexible arrangements available
Billable hour target: approximately 160 per month
Requirements:
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Junior position: Minimum 1 year of civil litigation experience
Mid-level position: At least 5 years of civil litigation experience
Strong foundation in civil litigation required
Proven ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines
