A growing and innovative law firm in Round Rock, Texas is seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney with 1–2+ years of experience to join its expanding practice. The firm welcomes candidates with experience representing creditors or debtors, as well as attorneys from Bankruptcy Trustee offices or those with general experience handling Chapter 7, 11, and 13 matters who are interested in transitioning into this niche practice.
What You'll Do
- Handle bankruptcy matters involving Chapters 7, 11, and 13
- Draft pleadings, motions, objections, and other bankruptcy-related filings
- Appear at hearings and communicate with trustees, creditors, debtors, and opposing counsel
- Manage cases from inception through resolution with the support of an experienced legal team
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to develop efficient case strategies and client solutions
What We're Looking For
- J.D. and active Texas Bar admission
- 1–2+ years of bankruptcy experience or transferable experience in bankruptcy-related matters
- Experience on either the creditor or debtor side is welcomed
- Bankruptcy Trustee office experience is highly valued
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills
- Interest in developing a long-term practice in bankruptcy law
