Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Manager to lead our logistics and warehouse operations at our world-class production facility in beautiful South Carolina. This individual will play a key role in building our successful startup that already has great traction in the food and beverage manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will combine extensive hands-on inventory management experience with proven expertise in food/beverage manufacturing and ERP systems. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee comprehensive outbound logistics, including on-site and off-site warehouse inventory management and transportation of finished goods
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and logistics providers for inbound supply of raw materials
  • Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to assess strategic logistics opportunities and ensure customer requirements are met
  • Plan and allocate resources for warehouse picking and shipping processes to guarantee daily shipments are processed promptly and accurately
  • Coordinate with department heads to ensure warehouse activities align seamlessly with production and purchasing functions
  • Provide operational support for all warehouse processes including inspection, receiving, storage, material usage, order picking, and inbound/outbound shipments
  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through systematic cycle count processes, variance investigations, and quarterly/annual physical inventories
  • Manage department KPIs with visual controls and provide regular status updates to senior management
  • Identify root causes of operational problems and implement effective countermeasures
  • Develop and execute lean initiatives to drive continuous improvement in all warehouse processes
  • Ensure employee compliance with company policies, production procedures, and safety standards


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive warehouse management experience in manufacturing, with emphasis on CPG or food/beverage industry
  • Hands-on inventory management experience is essential — must have direct experience managing complex inventory systems and processes
  • Food and beverage manufacturing experience required — understanding of industry-specific requirements, regulations, and best practices
  • SAP or similar ERP system expertise required — proven experience implementing, managing, and optimizing enterprise resource planning systems
  • Previous supervisory experience in a CPG or similar manufacturing environment
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required
  • Strong management, coaching, and mentoring capabilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and experience dealing with operational complexity
  • Budget tracking and high-level organizational skills
  • Process improvement and lean manufacturing experience
  • Forklift Certification preferred; Forklift Trainer Certification a plus
  • CDL license preferred but not required
  • Flexibility with scheduled workdays and shift preferences required

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $70,000 – $85,000 (target $75,000)
