Maintenance Technician in Chagrin Falls

Job Description

Gpac is currently working with a manufacturer near Aurora, OH who is seeking a Maintenance Technician to add to their team. The company has been in business for 25 years and has three locations! This plant has just under 50 employees and is a fast pace, high-volume environment. With a strong focus on culture and sustainability they continue to thrive, operating 24/7 across 2 shifts!

As a Maintenance Tech, you will be a key player in minimizing downtime by diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance and overall ensure machines and systems are operating efficiently.

• Conduct routine maintenance and scheduled PM services for all areas of the plant
• Work closely with department supervisors to ensure equipment is running smoothly
• Inspect, diagnose, and tests machinery and equipment including pre-operational inspections to ensure production lines are in good mechanical order
• Troubleshoot, repair and replace machines and equipment as needed
• Troubleshoot PLC and industrial PC control systems; modify Allen Bradley and Siemens controllers as needed
• Conduct repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other industrial systems.
• Diagnose and repair issues with extruders, material systems, facility power distribution, and other electrical systems
• Complete all tasks in the safest and most efficient manner, complying with safety regulations and meeting all federal, state and local environment requirements

An ideal will candidate will have:

• 6-8 years maintenance experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
• Strong background with Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic troubleshooting/repair
• Continuous improvement mindset
• PLC knowledge – ideally Allen Bradley (Studio 5000) & Some Siemens
• Hands-on, forward thinker with ability to work well on a team
• Strong electrical knowledge a plus!

Schedule: 12 hour rotating days; 2-2-3 schedule 

Targeting $35-$39/Hr DOE
