Multifamily Construction Superintendent
We are working with a well-established general contractor seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead multifamily residential projects from ground-up through completion. This is a key field leadership role responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Position Overview
The Superintendent will oversee all on-site construction activities, coordinate subcontractors, and serve as the primary point of contact for field operations. The ideal candidate brings strong multifamily construction experience, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day on-site construction operations for multifamily projects
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel
Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met
Enforce jobsite safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers
Resolve field issues and mitigate delays or risks
Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs and reports
Lead site meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, with a focus on multifamily construction
Proven experience managing ground-up multifamily projects (apartments, condos, mixed-use)
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) preferred
