Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Hybrid Commercial Lines Processor to a growing insurance team. This role is designed for an individual with a solid understanding of commercial insurance who is looking to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial lines, specifically in processing endorsements and Certificates of Insurance (COIs), and will be able to work in a hybrid capacity, splitting time between working remotely and on-site.
In this position, you will be responsible for supporting Account Managers and ensuring accurate and timely processing of policy changes, endorsements, and COIs for a variety of commercial clients. You will serve as a key resource, helping to maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional customer service and handling administrative tasks with efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage endorsements for commercial insurance policies (e.g., coverage changes, additions, deletions, etc.).
Issue and track Certificates of Insurance (COIs) to ensure compliance and timely delivery to clients.
Communicate with clients, underwriters, and agents to gather necessary information and resolve issues.
Review policy documents for accuracy and completeness before processing.
Assist Account Managers with day-to-day administrative tasks and client service needs.
Handle policy renewals and endorsements, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Maintain detailed records of all transactions and communications in the agency management system.
Collaborate with other team members to resolve client inquiries or concerns in a timely manner.
Provide support in the preparation of client proposals and policy documentation.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in commercial insurance, preferably in a processor or similar role.
Knowledge of commercial lines insurance products and endorsements.
Experience in issuing Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency with insurance agency management systems and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Strong customer service orientation and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and clients.
Ability to work in a hybrid work environment with a strong degree of self-motivation and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Insurance licenses (or the ability to obtain within a specified time frame).
Previous experience supporting Account Managers or assisting with client servicing.
