Financial Controller in Norwalk

Job Description

A local community bank is seeking a Controller.  They are looking for a well-rounded individual with a strong financial background that can step in immediately to make an impact.

Responsibilities

• Effectively lead and oversee the company's finances
• Responsible for all internal and external financial reporting
• Develop and manage the ongoing budgeting process
• Strategic planning to key leadership
• Provide a financial basis for strategic planning
• Serve as an integral member of Senior Management Team and provide leadership and input to President/CEO
• Develop staff as the company continues to grow

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance degree, CPA, MPA preferred
• Strong financial management background
• Proven Controller / CFO who has operated at board level and managed complexity within a high growth business
• Strong leadership skills, who has managed and grown broad scope finance functions
• Ability to continuously develop and mentor employees
