Banking Systems Support Analyst Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Banking Systems Support Analyst to join a team responsible for the support, maintenance, and improvement of critical banking software systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, improving processes, and working closely with both internal teams and external vendors to keep systems running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Provide help desk and system support, including triaging incoming tickets and phone requests.
Assist with system monitoring, upgrades, testing, and documentation.
Partner with vendors to develop, test, and implement system patches.
Track and document system changes according to established policies.
Identify recurring issues, recommend solutions, and drive process improvements.
Contribute to departmental projects that enhance system utilization and operational efficiency.
Support audit requests and compliance activities by gathering system documentation.
Participate in an on-call rotation and provide general administrative/operational support as needed.
Script writing to augment the current core system provider
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience supporting banking operations or financial systems.
Knowledge of banking operations, transaction flows, and process improvement methods.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
