Farm/Agronomy Consultant in Emerson

Job Description

A privately owned Ag Company is looking for a Farm/Ag Consultant to join their team who will be expected to scout assigned acres and give customers a report of the results with any needed recommendations, as well as assist with farm planning.  Pay will be determined DOE.

Perks of the Farm/Ag Consultant position include:

• Pickup and fuel card
• Laptop and cell phone (or phone allowance)

Responsibilities related to the Farm/Ag Consultant position include:

• Responsible for fertilizer and chemical recommendations
• Crop scouting approximately 3 days/week, with 2 days in the office
• Quality conversations with growers

Qualifications for the Consultant position include:

• B.S. in Ag or related field preferred but not required
• 2 - 3+ years of Agronomy experience preferred
• Knowledge of Farm Economics preferred
