Position: Commercial Business Litigation Associate Attorney- representing corporate clients in a wide range of matters
The Firm:
With the goal of building a client-oriented, practical focused law firm, the founding partner, established the groundwork over 50 years ago, growing it from a sole proprietor operation to the dynamic group of attorneys it is today. Led by seven partners, the attorneys are committed to providing clients with customized and thoughtful solutions to their difficult legal issues.
Responsibilities:
- Minimum 1800 billable hours a year
- Prepare legal briefs, handle discovery, hearings and so forth for commercial business litigation.
- Work with clients on complex transactional matters including corporate finance and refinance arrangements, commercial real estate transactions, asset-based term loans, revolving and non-revolving lines of credit, equipment leases, development loans and recapitalization aspects of private equity offerings.
- Represent clients in court and mediation proceedings
- Advise clients on business and legal transactions
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations
Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience
- Pennsylvania License (required)
- Excellent writing/drafting skills for litigation
- Abilities with various pleadings and discovery documents
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal communications skills
- Ability to advise clients on legal and business transactions
- Familiarity with various legal research for litigation
- Strong understanding deadlines and time frames
