Associate Attorney – Civil Litigation (Plaintiff-Side)

Location: Hingham, MA
Work Arrangement: Fully Remote (Must be licensed in Massachusetts)

The Opportunity

A well-established litigation practice is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its growing civil litigation team. This role is ideal for a self-sufficient litigator looking for meaningful responsibility, flexibility, and strong earning potential in a predominantly plaintiff-side practice.

• Commercial Litigation

• Construction Litigation

• Employment Litigation

• Trust & Estate Litigation

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage a civil litigation caseload from intake through resolution

• Handle pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, mediations, and court appearances

• Develop case strategy and work directly with clients

• Contribute to business development and client origination efforts

Requirements

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience

• Active Massachusetts bar license (required)

• Ability to manage files largely independently

• Strong litigation, advocacy, and client-facing skills

• Plaintiff-side experience preferred, but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $130,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience, bonus opportunities as well

• Minimal billable requirements
