Senior Staff Accountant – Residential Construction
Full-Time | On-Site/Hybrid

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Staff Accountant for one of our best clients - a leading Residential home builder. This role will be instrumental in supporting both corporate and project-level accounting functions, with a strong focus on loan and draw requests, general ledger management, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Staff Accountant:

• Prepare, submit, and track loan draw requests in coordination with project teams and external lenders
• Maintain organized and compliant loan documentation for residential construction projects
• Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate journal entries and timely reconciliations
• Prepare and deliver monthly financial packages, including internal reports and performance summaries
• Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency in financials

Qualifications for the Senior Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in residential construction
• Direct experience with loan requests, draw processing, and construction finance
• Strong working knowledge of journal entries, accruals, and general ledger accounting
• Proficiency with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, or other construction-specific software
