Civil Engineer – Site Development & Infrastructure Design (5+ Years Experience)

About the Opportunity

You’ll work on a variety of projects — from residential and commercial developments to institutional, industrial, and transportation design — while collaborating with a talented, multidisciplinary team that takes pride in high-quality work and professional integrity.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the civil engineering team, you will:

  • Design and prepare site development plans for a range of projects including commercial, residential, and institutional sites.

  • Develop sediment and erosion control packages in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Prepare technical calculations and designs for potable water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage conveyance systems.

  • Support permit application processes, coordinating with regulatory agencies and clients to ensure timely approvals.

  • Collaborate with project managers, surveyors, and engineers across disciplines to deliver high-quality designs and documentation.

  • Provide guidance to junior staff and contribute to a culture of learning and professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (required)

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within one year preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil/site design

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software

  • Strong understanding of hydrology, grading, and utility design principles

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
