Position Overview

A national law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with 3–7 years of experience to join its San Diego office. This role focuses on defense-side commercial litigation matters in both state and federal courts and offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-level cases within a collaborative and well-supported environment.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of litigation experience
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Business/commercial litigation
  • Probate or fiduciary litigation
  • Real estate litigation
  • Class action defense
• Strong experience handling:
  • Written discovery and discovery disputes
  • Legal research and analysis
  • Motion practice and brief writing
• Ability to independently manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced practice
• Active California Bar license required
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $180,000 – $230,000, depending on experience
