Civil Litigation Attorney
A premier Boise-based law firm is seeking a skilled Lateral Attorney with 5 to 10+ years of civil litigation experience to join a dedicated team of experienced trial lawyers. This position is ideal for an established litigator looking to focus on high-quality practice and trial work within a collaborative environment, without the immediate pressure of business development.

Book of Business: Not required; the firm possesses a substantial, stable caseload to fully support this role.
Key Responsibilities
Manage civil litigation cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Conduct extensive discovery, take and defend depositions, and represent clients in evidentiary hearings and oral arguments.
Serve as lead or co-counsel in trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
Provide strategic legal counsel to clients, maintaining high standards of advocacy and professional communication.
Collaborate effectively with partners, associates, and legal support staff in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active bar license in good standing (Idaho bar preferred, or eligible for immediate admission).
5 to 10+ years of proven experience in civil litigation, with a strong track record in courtroom appearances or trial work.
Exceptional legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
