GPAC (The #1 Recruiting Firm in the Nation) is partnering with a highly regarded Missouri-based law firm that’s looking to bring on an experienced Associate Attorney with a solid background in civil litigation. This is a great opportunity for a driven litigator ready to step into a role with real responsibility in a team-focused, growth-oriented environment.

Position Details:

  • Location Options: Offices in both Columbia and Springfield
  • Practice Focus: Civil litigation only — candidates with experience in family law, transactional law, or government law will not be considered
  • Experience Required: 5–10+ years of hands-on civil litigation experience
  • Work Setup: Mostly in-office, with some flexibility for hybrid work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle your own caseload from start to finish, including trial when necessary
  • Take and defend depositions, draft pleadings and motions, and appear in court
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on case strategy
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients while managing deadlines

Qualifications:

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice in Missouri
  • At least 5 years of relevant civil litigation experience (7–10+ preferred)
  • Strong writing skills, courtroom presence, and ability to work independently

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $130,000 – $200,000 (based on experience)
