A well-established bay area Commercial and Industrial Mechanical Contractor is looking to fill a Director of Engineering position to oversee their thriving mechanical department.

Been in business for over 20 years working on new construction, retrofit and repair for commercial and industrial properties throughout California.  Specialized in Life Science, Office, Hotel, Data Center and Institutional projects.  Priding ourselves in putting our clients first and building lasting relationships.  We deliver best-in-class project management, design/engineering, fabrication, installation, and maintenance services on our HVAC, Piping and Plumbing projects.

Qualifications for this Director of Engineering position:

• 10 + years experience Mechanical Engineering and/or Contracting
• 5+ years of leadership of a team of engineers
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• P.E. preferred
• Commercial design-build mechanical construction experience
• Experience in a variety commercial and industrial project types
• Ability to manage and mentor other engineers
• Developed skills (written, oral, and listening) in order to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
• AutoCAD and Revit experience
• Organized, excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail,  and sound problem-solving skills
