Paralegal – Estate Planning & Trusts Location

A leading law firm in St. Louis is seeking a skilled Paralegal with 3–5 years of experience in estate planning and trusts & estates administration. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team and play a key role in delivering high-quality client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives under attorney supervision

  • Assist with probate and trust administration, including pleadings, inventories, accountings, deeds, and related filings

  • Communicate with clients, financial institutions, and third parties to gather information and provide updates

  • Maintain organized files and documentation throughout each matter

  • Conduct legal research on probate and fiduciary matters

  • Track deadlines for court filings, tax returns, distributions, and other obligations

  • Record billable time and assist with invoicing

  • Support attorneys in managing sensitive client matters with professionalism and discretion

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience

  • 3–5 years of estate planning and/or trusts & estates administration experience

  • Knowledge of probate court procedures in Missouri and/or Illinois

  • Strong communication and writing skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with estate planning software is a plus

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ($65,000–$85,000, based on experience)
