Now Hiring: Director of Nursing – Assisted Living & Memory Care
📍 Location: Michigan
Are you a compassionate and experienced nursing leader ready to make a meaningful impact in senior care? We’re seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee clinical operations in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Michigan.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a caring and committed team while ensuring the highest standards of resident care in a warm, supportive environment.
What You'll Do:
Oversee day-to-day nursing operations for both assisted living and memory care residents
Supervise and mentor clinical staff (nurses, caregivers, CNAs)
Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans
Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacies, and outside providers
Ensure compliance with Michigan state regulations, licensing requirements, and company standards
Maintain accurate documentation and manage EMR systems
Monitor resident well-being and respond to health status changes
Lead staff training, evaluations, and performance improvement plans
Support families and participate in care planning meetings
Provide on-call support and leadership during emergencies
Foster a compassionate, respectful, and team-focused culture
What We're Looking For:
Active RN license in the state of Michigan (required)
3+ years of leadership experience in assisted living, memory care, or a related senior care setting
Deep understanding of dementia care best practices
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Knowledge of relevant federal and Michigan state regulations
Passion for senior care and a resident-centered approach
