An AM 200 law firm in South Miami is seeking an attorney with 3–5 years of experience to join our expanding corporate team as a Corporate Associate. We are looking for an attorney who has strong transactional experience and is committed to building a long-term career in a national platform with significant opportunity for growth.

This attorney will work extensively on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, and corporate governance matters. The role requires an attorney capable of managing sophisticated deals, drafting complex agreements, and advising clients on strategic corporate issues.

Position Focus: The successful attorney will regularly handle:

  • Mergers and acquisitions involving both private and institutional clients

  • Private equity deals, equity investments, and financing structures

  • Complex joint ventures and strategic collaborations

  • High-level corporate governance planning, board matters, and compliance

  • Licensing, partnership agreements, and general corporate counseling

You will join a team where mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, and corporate governance are central to the practice. Attorneys in this group frequently advise on mergers and acquisitions strategy, negotiate private equity transactions, structure joint ventures, and resolve complex corporate governance challenges across diverse industries. Knowledge of securities law, tech transactions, and fund formation is a plus.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience as a corporate transactional attorney

  • Demonstrated background in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, and corporate governance

  • Strong drafting, deal management, and communication skills

  • Florida Bar required

  • Ability to work collaboratively with partners, clients, and fellow attorneys
