Job Title: Quality Engineer

Position Summary: The Quality Engineer will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the strict requirements of our Defense and Aerospace customers. This role involves working closely with customer specifications, inspection data, and supporting a fast-paced, small-batch manufacturing environment with complex, high-precision projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and apply customer specifications to production and inspection processes
Manage and review First Article Inspections (FAI) and inspection data
Partner with machinists and engineers to ensure compliance with tight tolerances and quality standards
Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality processes and documentation
Provide technical guidance in a machine job shop/development manufacturing environment
Communicate effectively with customers regarding quality standards and requirements
Qualifications:
Experience in quality engineering within a machine shop or development manufacturing environment
Background in Defense and/or Aerospace industries preferred
Strong knowledge of FAI and inspection processes
Familiarity with customer specifications for high-profile aerospace clients
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small-batch manufacturing setting
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
