Job Opportunity: Business and Real Estate Litigation Attorney

Our client, an established Indianapolis-based law practice with a team of over 20+ attorneys, is currently seeking an experienced and driven attorney to join its Business and Real Estate Litigation group. This is an exciting opportunity for a legal professional with a solid background in civil litigation who thrives in a fast-moving, team-oriented, and entrepreneurial setting. The role involves advocating for clients in a variety of real estate and business litigation issues, including cases related to business dissolutions, trade secrets, fraud, trademark infringement, eminent domain, antitrust, real estate partitions, and construction matters. The selected candidate will partner closely with colleagues to serve a diverse client base, from individuals to large corporate entities. Attorneys with substantial experience in either business or real estate litigation are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed factual analysis and legal research

  • Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and briefs

  • Handle all aspects of discovery and conduct depositions

  • Represent clients at hearings and in court (opportunities for first-chair appearances depending on experience)

  • Collaborate with legal team members on case strategies and litigation planning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of litigation experience in business and/or real estate law

  • Deep knowledge of litigation processes, evidence rules, and court procedures

  • Exceptional writing and oral advocacy skills

  • Ability to navigate complex legal challenges with strategic insight

  • Experience overseeing cases from initiation through final resolution

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • High level of initiative, professionalism, and sound decision-making

  • Commitment to providing outstanding legal services to clients

  • Fluency in Spanish or another second language is a plus, but not required
