Nationally recognized firm with a strong reputation in seeking affordable housing and low-income tax credit is seeking an experienced attorney to join their team. This firm represents nonprofit affordable housing developers and community development organizations with general real estate needs, large real estate financing transactions, and issues related to syndication of low income and new markets tax credits.

Qualifications 

  • 3-12 years experience in affordable housing and LIHTC
  • Lead transactions representing Purchasers in fast paced purchase and sale negotiations, documentation, title review, property due diligence and property transfer
  • Prepare easements, licenses, joint use agreements and cost sharing agreements necessary for property operation
  • Experience with private and public lending
  • Familiarity working with governmental agencies
  • Licensed in any state preferably California
